Partnering--with my baby girl! Any partner advice?

My #3 daughter, math genius, MBA in Hospital Administration and Business Marketing--is between jobs. She began by offering me information, and now she's come roaring out of the garage like a Mazerati with books for wheels! She's stunning and amazing me with her knowledge, her swift understanding, her contributions to the plans and details and motives and characters. Wow I'm proud of her! Our excitement for 'our' book is mutual and working with her is really moving things along for once! I'm a slow writer. This is fun!

Who knew? And now that I know...can any experienced parent/partners offer some good advice? I really hate to learn things the hard way.

I co-authored ex-blog, now book 'Cycling Solo;Ireland to Istanbul" (Brolga and distributed by PanMac) with my son Trevelyan Quest Edwards ( his real name chosen by his father) but he did all the cycling and blogging and I just helped with the crafting. We're still speaking to each other. I think it's easier to co-write factual material than fiction.

Have you followed the P.J. Tracy mother and daughter writing team? They live in different states (not that unusual for collaborations, I guess).

No, I never knew about P. J. Tracy. I know P. J. Parrish is two sisters who live in separate states. Also Charles Todd is a mother-son team. I could never imagine how they worked together so successfully, and now, unexpectedly, looks like I'm going to find out.

My daughter lives in another state, are you saying that helps?

I've been following the story of a 3 year old British girl that was kidnapped in Portugal last week. It made me think, if she would have been wearing a piece of jewelry with a GPS tracking device it would have been very easy to find her. I started looking around for some sort of GPS device that can be put on a necklace or ring for my 2 and 4 year old girls to wear.
