Yeah, have to chime in about Life, and Journeyman. I suspect the first has more than the other, but I really like J-man. It's the sci-fi kid in me. The main character in Life makes it all work, and J-man just keeps getting deeper and deeper with the potential to really spiral into areas regular TV hasn't seen in some time--in the sci-fi genre at least. I'd guess Twin Peaks deep ..... But none of these new ones can hold the dirty socks of The Wire.
I haven't seen Chuck. I'll give it a whirl, it just looked like another My Name is Earl to my eye off the cuff. But I'll check it out. I have to add LIFE to my list.tag:crimespace.ning.com,2007-12-09:537324:Comment:1023832007-12-09T07:17:00.259ZKaryn J. Powershttp://crimespace.ning.com/profile/karyning

CHUCK and LIFE have been picked up for the rest of the season while JOURNEYMAN is reportedly close to being canceled.

I adore Pushing Daisies! It's like nothing else on TV and is such a cute, colorful, almost theatrical mystery/crime show. I like how it's all balanced out by Emerson Cod the grumpy no-nonsense PI.

I agree LIFE is unfolding well. It may need some ratings help, though, as last night's episode came in fourth behind ABC's DIRTY SEXY MONEY. On the other hand, no new series is a clear hit yet.

Not to mention, just based on the episode I saw, he disappears from work a lot with no repercussions. Try that for real and you would be fired in a heartbeat.

After three episodes, PUSHING DAISIES is just too precious. Cloyingly cute. Bury it, I say. Godzilla, step on Bambi.

I'm still watching CHUCK, but I want to see Chuck's spy adventures spill into his day job more, forcing him to juggle. As it is, he seems to have lots of downtime to go on missions with Sarah and Casey,

Well, I like Journeyman, with the exception of the incessant returning of Dan's girlfriend Livia. She's annoying, and, in my opinion, unnecessary to the show. It would be more intriguing if Dan were simply stumbling along instead of having her guiding him.

I do like Life-I'm with Margot, I tuned in intially because of Damian Lewis, and then finding out that Adam Arkin was also on the show just clinched it. The pilot turned me off at first, but I had a chance to re-watch it on Bravo and enjoyed…

Pushing Daisies and Chuck, they just got on my nerves. I think they're a little too quirky or something. I wanted to like Chuck because of Adam Baldwin, he's always great to watch., but I just couldn't make it. Oh well. I enjoyed the pilot. I enjoyed the pilot. Angie Harmon and Rob Estes, both seen in law enforcement backdrops before, slide easily into their new roles as Insp. Lindsay Boxer and her ex-husband-cum-superior officer Tom Mitchell. The rest of the cast, all good-looking, was less familiar to me but played their professional roles and personal chemistry well enough. If the show pulls off this balance, I'll keep watching.

It's been getting a lot of buzz. Not sure if that bodes well for the show or not.
