Brighton Based Producer and Director James Weisz is helming an exclusive run of performances of Get Carter, adapted for the stage by Jonathan Holloway from the Novel by Ted Lewis.

2011 marks the 40th anniversary of the film release starring Michael Caine. Voted No. 1 British film of all time by TotalFilm. The film was a landmark for Michael Caine and Director Mike Hodges, creating a new style of filmmaking, far away from the swinging sixties.

 

The Play sees Jack Carter, a hardened killer, return to the North to find out what happened to his brother Frank, who died under mysterious circumstances, whilst there Jack gets embroiled in a nightmare of crime, pornography and prostitution. A gritty, violent and bleak Tale of revenge, brotherhood and redemption.
