I love to read and I read a lot. In the picture I'm the one in the white. This was taken at LCC in 2001 and that's Stephen Booth on my left and Bev on his left and Luci on my right and a few other 4MAers. Oh that reminds me I am a member of the mystery discussion list, 4MA which means 4 mystery addicts.

To name only a few movies: Tea With Mussolini, The Hours, Something The Lord Made, Crash, Up Close and Personal, Secondhand Lions, The Histroy of Violence, 11:14, The Clearing, The Italian Job, The Count of Monte Cristo, (2002 version), Open Range with Robert Duval, Kevin Costner and Annette Benning what a beautiful movie and many more.

To name a few TV shows: The Closer, Monk, Brothers and Sisters, All of the Law and Order shows, Battlestar Gallactica, House, Greys Anatomy, Six Feet Under and many more. I have a couple of past favorites on DVD, The Pretender, La Femme Nikita, Highlander, Forever Knight and .Babylon 5. Good thing this didn't ask for music. ;-)

    Not a lot going on here. We are watching Buffy on DVD these days. Reading nice light stuff and trying not to dwell on my sister too much. Otherwise things are same old same old.

    Hey Sly. Just a quick update which is nothing again today. Good news is they are going to move her to the hospital in the town where she lives. She has been in one an hour away - a lot of travel for her family and about the same difference for us. Other than that she is hanging on. 4MAers have been the best friends through this. You guys rule!!

    Lynne thanks for the update. I'm glad they're moving her closer to her family and just a bit sorry that that doesn't also move her closer to you. But at least it won't add miles. I hope you're taking care of yourself, giving yourself lots of strokes.

    That's so true about 4MAers, the sense of friendship is strong and no one is left hanging without some of us coming to the recue if only virtually. You are a pal and for that you are family so I worry about you and have the best hopes for you in this time. Really, really take care.

    Thanks Sly. As it is all in a day of calm I think I am going to sleep and read and read and sleep. In that order.

    Have you read the Dresden Files books? I just read the first one and quite enjoyed it. I like demon type stuff with vampires and what have you and this was not really all that dark compared to some I have read.
