I am a New Zealand-based (now that I have returned from a couple of years overseas travels) magazine writer and crime fiction reviewer. I write full-time for NZLawyer magazine, and also contribute freelance to magazines, newspapers and websites in New Zealand, Australia and internationally. I contribute regular crime fiction review to a number of publications, including Good Reading magazine (Australia) and the EuroCrime website (UK). I have also recently launched a crime fiction blog, focusing on Kiwi crime fiction and news, but also including thoughts, comments and news on international crime and thriller fiction - see http://www.kiwicrime.blogspot.com/
I read widely, but overall I would have to say my top authors are probably Mark Billingham, Michael Connelly, and James Lee Burke. Others like J.A. Kerley, Robert Crais, and Linwood Barclay close behind.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
too many to list. Right now my faves on TV are probably Entourage for comedy/drama, and SVU and Criminal Minds for crime drama.
Sounds like we agreed then Craig - I will confess I've not yet had time to read Robert Sims first book, which I must get to but ToD didn't work for me, yet FtW most definitely did.
