Thanks for befriending this mystery author on Crimespace, and I'm older than my headshot photo (which was taken a few years ago & needs to be updated) might indicate--hot flashes and all. ;-) You should be able to find my hardcover mysteries in your library (or available on interlibrary loan) and at Amazon & B&N websites. If you want to buy them from your local bookstore, you'll probably have to ask them to order them. HI Barabara - my uniform pic was some time ago! That's my Desert Storm pic. No, I didn't inherit a plastics plant, but I *do* wear a plastic leg brace. Hi Barbara - hope you are feeling better. I find my medication affects how I feel, so I have been frequenting my doctor (she's a wonder!) to get just the right mix of prescriptions. Also, I found that taking many of my meds at night helps me sleep better & gives me great dreams.

I had a couple of TIAs just before The Big One - they are important signs that you need to do something different. I'm glad you have relaxing activities like sewing and exciting activities like crime novels & NCIS (my very favorite show!) - I hope that even when depression strikes, you can force yourself outdoors for walks as there is nothing quite as therapeutic, IMHO, as the outside world and it's distractions. Even walks in my less-than-lovely area offer the sounds of birds and a tree or two to help me feel like a part of the natural world even when I don't feel like part of the human one.

Are you writing anything? Let me know. I think you have some interesting short stories in you - but I'm a short story writer who thinks that of almost everyone!
