I'm a British crime writer and have two humorous series on the go: Rafferty & Llewellyn & Casey and Catt. My first four crime novels in the Rafferty series were published by Macmillan, but now I'm with Severn House who have published the rest in the series (I've just finished my fourteenth Rafferty). Death Dance, my latest, which comes out August 2010 UK and November 2010 US. Available from amazon.
Christopher Brookmyre, Mark Billingham, Ruth Dudley Edwards, Cynthia Harrod-Eagles, P D James, Reginald Hill, Jean Plaidy, Phillipa Gregory and the author of The Sunne in Splendour (historical), whose name for the moment, escapes me.
Hello and welcome! I just wanted to introduce myself, and my blog, The Book Buff: Book Reviews for Regular People. Check it out at http://www.thebookbuff.blogspot.com
There are some great book giveaways going on right now over at The Book Buff, just click on the title of the book for more details: Dark Sky at Dawn (Historical Fiction Romance) Private (James Patterson's newest book)
It can be a bit overwhelming around here at first, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I met Parnell at ThrillerFest in July - I spotted him across the room, and thought, "Who is that author? I know him, don't I?" - then remembered where we'd "met." Too funny!
Hi Geraldine, Looking at the time you posted I gather you're a fellow insomniac, or all those balls you're trying to juggle are keeping you awake. Bloody noisy balls, you'd think they'd show a bit of respect. LOL
But hey, I'm a bit like you, I like plenty of challenges, look forward to your posts cheers..
Well, a word from your friendly naturopath, remember to take a good Multi B Complex, a Calcium and Magnesium Complex and Omega 3-6-9, like a good car, your body needs high octane fuel..
Hi Geraldine, thank you for your acceptance. Much appreciated, I did spot that you are into the comedic combination of crime with laughs. Always good. I will check you out. Just been reading your promotional advice blog, absolutely agree. The kindle version of Dogs is £2.54, which is the version I try to encourage, given that I'm having problems with UK amazon at moment and UK readers have to pay £13 (inc postage) to get a copy from the U.S. And people wonder why the traditional print methods are suffering ;-).
Thank you again, if you do check out Dogs, I promise you won't regret it.
