About Me:
I just had my 43rd birthday. 40 did not bother me the way it is supposed to, but 43, I did not even care to acknowledge the date?? I am a mom of many. I am a prosecutor turned criminal defense attorney. I was the chief asst. D.A & retired after 15 years (same year as my divorce of 20 years) and opened a solo practice..
My ex and I married and divorced each other three times (we married very young), but this time we have both moved on. I have been remarried for nearly 2 years and he just remarried. My ex and my current husband are both criminal defense attorneys. After being a mom, then a lawyer I am an aspiring (wanna be) fiction writer. Actually I AM a writer; I WANT to become a published writer. My goal for 2010 is to complete my final draft of the legal thriller I have been writing and to begin submitting query letters -at least 2 per month. Another goal is to accept that rejection is a part of life. It is all part of my happiness-project found at www.happinessproject.com. The author of the book Gretchen Rubin is really on to something workable. You can read more about me at http://www.legalnewsandmommyviews.typepad.com and soon on sugarscribes.typepad.com.

Thanks for adding me to your friend list, Melissa...it was nice of you. I'm embarrassed to say that I have been so incredibly busy of late this is the first time I've been to Crime Space in months. So very very much to do, so very little time to do it.

Anyway, I hope things are going very well for you, and that you are busily working on your next book.

    Melissa,
We have a few things in common, not the least is that we are lawyers writing legal thrillers. However, you are in the enviable position of having yours completed, while I am still writing mine!
There are an amazing number of attorneys here on this site.
Have you done NaNo before? There are several of us attorneys who have signed up for that next month and who are supporting each other as we write.
I look forward to reading more from you.

    Best Wishes,
    Anne
