I've been to Copenhaven twice, loved Smilla and Elsinore. Swedish by ancestory, my novels, like Blind Jagt, went to book club in Danish, as well as the English language version. Welcome.
Right you are. David Lorne is for the "L" in David L. Hoof. Best yet novel by me is Little Gods, which is being submitted to Bruce Cohen (producer of the film "Milk") for consideration as a film. My first screenplay to be produced as a film will begin in February.
Hi Dorte - thank you for accepting the friend invite. I'm always fascinated to see other people's Scandinavian favourites - being a bit of a fan myself.
Hi, Dorte. Many thanks for reviewing BLIND TO THE BONES. Only Klim themselves can make promises about publication in Denmark, of course! But they did buy the translation rights in BLIND last year, so I'd expect to see the Danish edition some time in 2009, all being well...
Hi Dorte,
Glad you liked 'THE SUSPECT'. Sadly, I don't know if any of my other novels are going to be translated into Danish, which is a real shame because I love your part of the world. My third novel THE NIGHT FERRY is partly set in Amsterdam because of my love affair with that particularly city.
Good luck with the writing. Keep finding the time. It's the only way to finish.
Best
Michael

You'll get used to Crimespace - it takes a little while to find your way around but shout if there is anything that you are stuck with.
