Profile Information:

Hometown:
Tempe
About Me:
My fiction has bloodied the pages of The Best American Mystery Stories, Thuglit: Hardcore Hardboiled, The Deadly Bride, and Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine (not to mention the great e-zines Thuglit, Thrilling Detective, and Plots with Guns). Recently, I've begun a screenwriting career working for independent film legend Roger Corman.

A teacher of America's youth, I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona, a city just a few degrees cooler than hell. I still live there today with the world's best wife, my beautiful baby daughter, and two lazy dogs. When not teaching or writing, I practice Ja-Shin-Do and watch way too many violent movies.

Oh, absolutely. I don't think I've missed a Swierczynski comic yet. Definitely a worthy successor to Ennis' run.

I'm putting together a Mystery Cruise. Nov. 14-21, 2010. We're sailing from Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera. Cabins start at $400. You can contact me for panels. You can contact Beverly@cruisingsmart.com for info.

We're going to have a good short story panel.

Hey, Mike.  I'm such a recluse.  I think I said we should have coffee something like a year ago.  It will happen at some point.  Hope you are doing well.
