Nothing is as much fun as reviewing a book by Kinky Friedman. I will have to check out Tess!

Thanks for the invite! I loved to go to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival when I was in school. In those days, you dressed up for plays, and I remember struggling into pantyhose in my pup tent. Sigh. I'll check out Tess!

Scary, being caught in fires, isn't it? Our area was devastated by the Ash Wednesday bush fires of 1983 and our neighbours on three sides had the fires go through. I saved our house (my husband and son were kept out by police barricades, just my teenage daughter and her friend at home with me, plus horses, donkeys, dogs).

Hundreds of houses burned, over fifty people died. It was awful. Everyone in the neighbourhood was touched by it, one way or another, so - I had plenty of experience on which to base my book.

Your book sounds like good fun. Good luck with it.

Kinky Friedman! I LOVE him -- both his books and his music. He plays New York every now and then and we always go. You have a lot of humorous mystery writers on your list. I love them, too.
  • Morgan Mandel

I ride the Union Pacific. It used to be called the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad.
No, I couldn't write on the El. It would be too noisy@

Hello Morgan, No, I don't belong to that group of writers. Although I love living in this area because it's so close to the mountains, ocean, skiing... I would like to come see you speak. Let me know where and when and I'll try and make it. It's wonderful to meet a fellow OR, author.

    Warm regards,
    Kristine

Well than, good luck with your endeavors! I write more in the Thriller/Suspense genre'. I do like a good mystery however.
