About Me:
There's a lot to tell, but I'll spare you all the gory details, and make it short and sweet. I write suspense novels (my first novel--"Washed in the Blood" is with an agent now)--and short stories that are sometimes a little off the norm--but hey--aren't we all? I am also the editor of The Storyteller Magazine, President of OWL (Ozarks Writer's League) and a member of three other writing groups. I'm a photographer, own two companies and try to find time to write whenever and wherever I can. My two grandchildren (Dakota and Cheyenne) are the light of my life.
And to add to the thrills this year, I was nominated for a Spur Award. (Western Writers of America). I also won the Showcase Award in October at the Ozarks Creative Writers Conference and have a suspense story (under the name Regina Cook Williams) on Amazon.com. Stay tuned--I'll let you know if I win the Spur later in the year.

Books And Authors I Like:
I love all kinds of books, mystery and suspense my favorites. I like Dean Koontz, some of Stephen King, Sandra Brown, Tony Hillerman, Jory Sherman, Dusty Richards, Velda Brotherton, Lisa Jackson, and tons and tons of others. "To Kill a Mockingbird" being my favorite book of all time.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Again, my taste varies. Depending on my moods--which I must warn you--change drastically from one minute to the next. I love old movies, especially the horror movies and anything with Cary Grant. And my favorite TV show these days is "Three and a Half Men" and "ER".

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

    Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
