Thanks for the invite, Rick. I'm pounding on my third manuscript, due to my publisher by April 1. I'm sure you know what that's like. (What does it mean when your publisher releases one book on April Fool's Day and makes your third one due the same day? Hmmm.)
    Later, Morgan

    Good morning Rick,
Good to have you as a friend (Good to have anyone as a friend). Haven't read any of your books but they sound the very thing for me, so I'll remedy that situation.
  • Maggie Bishop

Hello Rick, Good luck with blogging. I haven't taken the time or called up the courage to keep up that amount of dialogue yet. Maggie
  • Betty Ann Harris

Hi Rick. Thanks for the friend request and congrats. on your writing accomplishments and recent TV appearance. Best wishes for your continued success!
  • Bill Crowe

Rick, I finished reading Every Fear this evening. Well done, I enjoyed it. Twists and turns at the end are often the benchmark of a well written book. Keep up the good work. I'm sorry to say this is your only book our local library has. B+
  • Rick Mofina

Hi Bill - thanks so much. I am honored by your kind feedback. With your background I imagine the bar would be set pretty high. Glad your local library had one of my books. Maybe it could be encouraged to order a few more of my titles. Very much appreciated, Bill. Rick
  • Colin Galbraith

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for the invite, and congrats on all your successes so far.

    Cheers!
  • Bill Crowe

Rick, I just read Be Mine and No Way Back. I particularly enjoyed the latter and have no constructive criticism. A-. Good job.
  • Bill Crowe

Rick, I just finished your Blood of Others. Very solid, good suspense. It gets my coveted grade of A. I have no criticism.

I think what separates you from some of the best seller big boys is some promotion and a perhaps a degree of luck. Great job.
  • Lillian Porter

I have just started to read you books and and am enjoying them
  • Bill Crowe

Rick, I completed Cold Fear this afternoon, a wonderful first effort. I was going to jump you about the twin engine helicopter weight limit business, but won't due to your disclaimer in the acknowledgments section. Also, the escaped con was awfully lucky to find the little girl so quickly in the millions of acres of wilderness when all the SAR people couldn't. I didn't write them down, but there were several places in the book where your turns of phrase were exquisite.

You're as good a writer as anyone out there.
  • felicja rogowski mazepa

Thank you for the invitation. I look forward to meet you in Toronto june 06 2008
  • Bill Crowe

Your creative license is fine and was arguably necessary for the plot line.

I'm re-reading an earlier James Patterson book, Kiss the Girls, where he talks about the killer pulling a revolver and then a graph or two later, references it as a Glock pistol. My ERROR, ERROR buzzer went off loudly.

I helped a very recent NYT best seller author with his firearms issues (for free) and extend the same offer to you for firearms, military and criminal legal issues.
  • Donna Carrick

"Six Seconds" is a brilliant title, Rick! Kudos for coming up with it. I already feel the urgency......

Now, back to my own "clicking tock", or is that "tocking click", oh well, you know what I mean! (Do we have clocks in Canada?)
    Donna Carrick www.donnacarrick.com
  • Kandy Williams

Okay, I have to ask, have you ever interviewed any serial killers? Helter Skelter was a book that changed my life and my writing, so I've had an interest in serial killers for quite a while.
  • Kandy Williams

Wow, Rick. What a career you've had! I take it that all / parts of these interviews have an affect on your writing, and that you incorporate that into your plots. But (if you don't mind my asking a personal question), has interacting with these kind of people affected you in any way? Do you ever have trouble sleeping after hearing some of these stories? Plus, how do you gain access to these guys on death row, etc.? Very Interesting.....!
  • Kandy Williams

And hearing a killer quote Camus, that had to be unusual. Any idea how the guy came to know and like his work?
  • Sheri Fresonke Harper

I hope you have a merry Christmas and happy holiday season :) Sheri
  • Sandy

I love your books. Can't wait to read SIX SECONDS.
  • Loraine

I just finished reading Six Seconds. What a great read!! I can't wait until your next book. Congratulations on becoming a best seller on Canada's national bestseller list! And congrats on the article in the Reader's Digest!
  • Steve

    Hi Rick,

I'm in Toronto too. Heard some great things about Six Seconds. Looking forward to reading it.
  • Donna Carrick

Hey, Rick, finally got my copy of "Six Seconds" and am looking forward to having it on my reading list for March Break! Best regards, Donna
