I've run Cuban run, smuggled jewels and slipped through some of the world's tightest security.
Foreign governments attempted to recruit me as a spy. (They failed.)
I have a long academic pedigree that includes a PhD in political science from the University of Michigan. (Go Blue!).
I write spy thrillers and also write about the outsourcing of the CIA and Pentagon on my blog, The Spy Who Billed Me, which has become a regular read for national security insiders. My next novel, OUTSOURCED, about the turf wars between the Pentagon and CIA as well as the privatization of national security comes out in mid-June.
The Daily Show;
The Colbert Report;
The O'Reilly Factor (which I understand is a parody of Colbert.);
Any flavor of Star Trek (Yeah, I know...);
The Bourne Supremacy;
The Manchurian Candidate (original).
Cyndy, you'll like RJ a lot. She's good people. Make sure she pays for the drinks, though, because with all those supersecret spy disguises she has in her briefcase, she could sneak away before you know it and stick you with the bill :-)
Hey, I'm about 110 pages into "Outsourced." I'm enjoying it. For whatever reason I had some problems getting started--probably my problems, not yours--but now I'm all caught up in the story. Great read.
