I write Screenplays, Stage plays, Short stories, articles, reviews and Poetry - Every idea I've ever had for a novel, I've always been able to do in 120 pages or less. I have been published, produced and vilified. Generally I am a raconteur.
I Am A:
Reader, Writer
Books And Authors I Like:
Mystery/Crime writers I think are excellent - In no particular order - Meg Abbott, Mark Haskel Smith, Edward Wright, Walter Mosley, Ray Bradbury, John Connolly, Michael Connelly, Craig Clevenger, Lawrence Block, Bill Fitzhugh, John Ridley, the late Barbara Serenella, and last but certainly not least Fredrick Brown. I read and enjoy a lot more writers, but these guys and gals have been knocking my socks off lately.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
The movie list is far too long to contain here, and the TV list is too short for anyone to care.
Hey Richard, welcome aboard. This seems like a pretty useful site. I'm just sort of figuring out how to get the most out of it.
I've got my official launch bash at your place on Saturday October 6 - 4:30pm. I think the book's pub date is September 28, but I'll be at Bouchercon.
Raconteur, how true!
I heard Wall Street Noir reviewed on an LA NPR station yesterday and they mentioned Mark Haskell Smith's story about the day trader locked in a car trunk...it's great!
