Thanks for your kind comments about our "Out of the Past" podcasts. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the mystery writers interview show as well. And I'll be adding KISS HER GOODBYE to my reading list.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

    Sorry, Nancy, I think B & N sold out.

    Kidding.

Natasha, good to see you here.

And Shannon, love both of your shows. You've inspired me to start seriously thinking about a podcast...
  • Paul Guyot

Did the city of Seattle ever get your book?
  • Paul Guyot

Hey, how'd you get a bird as friend?

I didn't know we could invite wild animals... wait, Cameron's here.

    Never mind.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

Paul, not only did Seattle get my book, the bookstore was kind enough to display it prominently and hand sell it -- at least according to reports I've received...
  • Rhonda

Hi and thank you for the invite
  • Laine

Thanks for inviting me into your circle!! A gal can never have too many friends!! :D
  • Miss DaMeaner

Donald Westlake is a wonderful inspiration. Thanks for NOT being a jerkoff egomaniac but being a standup success and giving credit where credit is due -- to those who have inspired you. Big sloppy kisses, my friend. Big sloppy kisses. -- A lifelong admirer
  • Dennis Venter

Howdy Robert, thanks for the invite. Great to cyber-meet you. Haven't got your book down here, we've got a limited number of bookstores. But will definitely get to ordering it - what did we do before the internet?
  • Patricia

Thanks for the invite...sounds like a book I will have to read.

Hi, Robert. Thanks very much for the invite. Congratulations on getting your first novel out! It's a hell of a tough process, but you did it. I'll be looking for it--and for your next one.
  • Larry W. Chavis

  • Paul Guyot

This color... looks like someone threw up soup all over your Crimespace page.
  • Paul Guyot

    Broccoli and cheese soup.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

    Is this any better... ?
  • Paul Guyot

    Thank you.
  • Paul Guyot

I like the blue font - like where it says "Paul Guyot said."

Use that instead of the green. With the dark bg, that would feel more like the writer of KISS HER GOODBYE.

Like I have any idea what I'm talking about....
  • Paul Guyot

    There you go!
  • Robert Gregory Browne

Thank you, sir. Can you please design my website now?
  • Paul Guyot

    You have a web site???
  • Robert Gregory Browne

Blog, okay? It's a freakin' blog.
  • Jeff Markowitz

    Thanks for the invite.
  • I. J. Parker

Hi, Robert Gregory. Do people actually call you that? It looks impressive on a book cover. As does your picture. Good luck with the new book!
  • Robert Gregory Browne

Actually, everyone calls me Rob. And I hope you will, too.
  • I. J. Parker

Righto, Rob! I'm Ingrid, except on book covers.
  • Gina Robertson

Thanks a lot for the invite.
  • Maxine Schmidt

Hi, Rob. Thanks for the invite.
  • Delphine Cingal

Thanks for the invite. I am looking forward to reading one of your novels when I have a bit of time. I am currently translating R. Austin Freeman into French for a French publisher.
  • Robert Freemyer

Sorry about the slow response but I'm concentrating on finishing "Murder on High Ground", the next of the triology. Will visit your website asap.
  • LaTanya Pattillo

Thanks for the invite! Can't wait to read your chapters! How does it feel to be PUBLISHED??
  • Breanda Cross

Hi Rob, Good to meet you. I visited your site and love your promotional ideas. After one novel I'm learning it's as much a part of the process as the writing. Having written a number of short-film scripts - with only a handful finding their way to the screen, I'm currently trying my hand at a feature. My novel is under contract, which is a good and bad thing as I'm constantly finding myself between a rock and a hard place. The producer seems to have one idea - and the Script Editor he has employed another! And of course, me, the writer, would love to go in an entirely different direction!! Life?!?
  • HappyRuby

I'll have to check out your new book - sounds like a good one. I do some reviews for booksnbytes.com and mysteriesgalore.com I don't see where they have it on their books to review so I guess I will just have to put it on my Amazon wish list. The title even sounds good.

  • Vince Keenan

Hey, Rob. Great news about Hard Case Crime reprinting Westlake's SOMEBODY OWES ME MONEY, isn't it?
  • Penny Rudolph

Hello Robert, it's amazing to meet someone who describes his book as 24 meets Dean Koontz or Stephen King ---that could be real ugly. In a beautiful way.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

I actually hate to describe it that way at all, because I think it's different -- and I certainly wouldn't compare myself to masters like Koontz and King, but if I'm in a pinch to explain it to someone, I guess that's as close as I can get.
  • Jordan Dane

Thanks for the congratulations on my new deal, Robert. It means a lot coming from someone like you. :)
  • Tess G

    Thanks for the add, Robert!
  • Jessica D. Russell

Thank you for the add. Congrats on your new release! I'll have to check it out. :-)
  • Marta Stephens

Hi Rob. I love it here because we CAN do a LOT of blatan self promotion! My favorite past time these days. Best of luck with your book by the way. It sounds like we're on the same path. Mine just came out in April and in the middle of all the promotions for it, I need to have the second book to my editor by the end of the year. Yikes. I look forward to chatting with you!

  • Shirley Wells

Hi, Rob (for some reason I called you Keith ... Hm). Thanks for the invite. It seems to me that, these days, BSP is as big a part of a writer's job as getting the words down. I must check out your book. But first, where's that wet shoelace...?
  • Jon McGoran as D. H. Dublin

    Hi Robert,
Thanks for the invitation. Congratulations on all you've got going on. Nothing wrong with BSP. Personally, I'm working on SSP (Shameless Self Promotion). I'll let you know how it goes!
  • Kent Gowran

Hey Robert - Thanks for the invite.

And, cool to see Eugene Izzi on your list there. A truly underrated master.
  • ITW Debut Authors - First Kill

Thanks for swinging by our new pad. It feels good to have some familiar faces on our page.
  • Mark Terry

I'm making a point: visit CrimeSpace for 5 or 10 minutes each day and mingle. I finally set up a basic MySpace page that I'm going to tinker with as well, with pretty much the same caveat. 5 or 10 minutes.

Otherwise, it's a passive website and I might as well not waste my time.

Anybody want to best on how long this initiative will last?

Or will it turn into yet another obsessive-compulsive thing like checking blogs.

    Sigh.
