Wondered if I could impose on your expertise. In my sixth Emerson Ward mystery, one of the bad guys washes money by purchasing old books. I suggested a 1690 fifth edition copy of Shakespeare's The Tempest and a first edition of Salinger's Catcher in The Rye would together be worth about $20K in good condition. Your thoughts?

I'm saving my travel $ for next year, after the May release of my book, TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET, the sequel to A REAL BASKET CASE. I definitely plan to attend Bouchercon in Indianapolis next year. I presume you'll be there, too?
