- John Reisinger is an engineer and former U.S. Coast Guard officer who lives on Maryland's Eastern Shore. John writes about true historical crime, forensics and mysteries based on real cases. His current book is Death of a Flapper, a Max Hurlock Roaring 20s mystery based on the Wilson-Roberts case of a double murder in a locked room. He has also released Death on a Golden Isle, based on the Eva Rablen poisoning case from the 1920s. His previous book was MASTER DETECTIVE, the story of Ellis Parker, the American Sherlock Holmes, and how Parker investigated the Lindbergh kidnapping, and got a signed confession by someone different from the man who had been convicted of the crime. Max Allan Collins called MASTER DETECTIVE "fascinating reading for tru-crime buffs and mystery fans alike."
