I sold two feature film scripts, but neither was produced (I can't understand why; my agent assured me that romantic comedies about serial killers set in the world of professional arm wrestling were the next big thing). For a long time I wanted to switch to writing novels, so I finally did. I recently finished writing my first book, THE TIDE STATION.

I'm trying to talk my daughter into naming her new puppy Conan instead of Chico! She's not going for it.
