- I love Laurie Colwin above and beyond all; also Jonathan Santlofer, Carl Hiaassen, Janet Evanovich, TC Boyle, George Saunders, Italo Calvino and tons of others. Am always game to read someone new!
- Movies And TV Shows I Like:
- A friend just turned me on to the joys of Canada's Slings and Arrows. I also possess an old-school fixation on American Idol (the American Dream of it, not the icky parts of it) and am finding myself drawn to Technicolor French-set musicals, from Umbrellas of Cherbourg to Gigi; ditto, Rear Window, which is neither and yet? Kinda both.

My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
