I work from home as a Consultant in Clinical Research and write on the side. Years ago and across the pond, I worked as a Certified Specialist in Poison Information at the Utah Poison Center before taking up the Senior position at the Central Texas Poison Center.   Life has a way of insisting on immediate attention - good luck finishing up when you've got some breathing room! Finished(ish) the book, decided I hated it (far too soft with characterizations and generally mooshy with some major plot points). Stuck it in a drawer and am now very close to finishing a book that's quite a bit different. Really having fun with it, so...we'll see what happens!
