New Jersey born clinical psychologist Roberta Isleib took up writing golf mysteries to justify time spent on the links. Her first series, featuring a neurotic professional golfer and a sports psychologist, was nominated for both Agatha and Anthony awards.
The second book in Roberta's new series starring a Connecticut psychologist is now available from Berkley Prime Crime: PREACHING TO THE CORPSE, following the March release, DEADLY ADVICE.
She has published articles in Women's World of Golf, Golf for Women, Tee Time Magazine, Mystery Scene, and National Golfer. Her short stories have been published in Mysterical-E, Handheldcrime.com, RIPTIDE, and the upcoming Level Best anthology, SEASMOKE.
Roberta is the president of National Sisters in Crime and the past president of the New England chapter. She lives with her family in Connecticut.
I thought, you know, since I signed up for this a few months back, I ought to try and spend a few minutes each day mingling. So hi Roberta. I'm behind on your books. Didn't you shift away from the pro golfer???? I enjoyed the hell out of those. Of course, I've got 50 or 60 books on my TBR pile--crazy, eh?
Spoke to Joel Salitka who tells me you and he were HS friends. He's coming to my author appearance at the Branford Library on Dec 20th at 7pm. Can you join us?
