Breach of Destiny is the author’s first novel. This narrative is based on the true life
story of its author, Frank Michael Adamo, known as Sonny Presti on these pages. The
first fifteen chapters accurately depict his stormy years from childhood to manhood. You
will hear his random thoughts of the past that haunt him when they choose to. You will be
led through the maze of his mind by someone who actually knows him better than he
knows himself. The only fiction in the first half of the book pertains to the New York Mafia
and any of the illegal activities by The Lost Sons of Destiny. Everything else in this initial
section of the story is for verbatim. These early chapters are dark and emotionally a
difficult read. They cover the brutal abuses the child protagonist suffers, as well as the
kid’s relationship with the neighborhood Mafia boss. The second half of this saga is very
gripping and inspirational. At around the midway-point, things take a very unusual turn.
This half of the tale is completely unexpected, as an Angel makes all the difference in a
moving story with an extraordinary ending. Breach of Destiny is a story that has
something for everyone. It is truly a unique and inspiring account of this man’s life.
