Murder Without Pity occurs in a Paris of riots over police killings and Far Right extremists. Here state criminal investigator Stanislas Cassel, grandson of a French Nazi collaborator during their WWII Occupation, works, solving small crimes. Ashamed of his family's history, he avoids anything political. Little does he suspect the life-change awaiting him when he investigates a pensioner's bizarre murder.
