"Now that you mention details, I recall this book. Even with minor flaws and a few cringes, Connelly is still a very fine crime writer, and these days there aren't very many. "

I have just finished reading 'The Gods of Guilt' by Michael Connelly. The main character in the novel, a Lincoln Lawyer novel, accepts the assistance of a drug baron in order to exonerate an innocent client. "The ending of Two Way Cut was unimpressive; I was expecting the character to rejoin the Police force but I suppose when you need a holiday, there comes a point when it becomes absolutely necessary. It was a good novel, I wish I could write like that."
