My story The Only Amateur is now online in Issue 3 of Scalped. It's my second stand-alone. It's also my first male protagonist after thirty Diana Andrews stories, which I mention because of our discussion on men writing women.
The theme of Issue 3…
Now you're talking. To oversimply more than a bit, women don't scare me, but teenagers do. For one thing, by the time my story is in print, or even online, my dialog is obsolete.
Higgins wrote terrific low-life dialogue, especially in Digger's Game.
This will be my fourth time. It's always well organized, with a good mix of presentations.
Wish I could be. Waited too long, and it sold out! Next year, definitely.
I wish I could, Albert. It'd be just my cup o' chowdah.

BSP: Not a Diana Andrews story.

First blog post.
For my first blog post in Crimespace, some BSP:
I have two new stories out, neither of which is a Diana Andrews story. She is my series character, a suburban prostitute in northern New Jersey.
The first story, "Bismarck Rules," focuses on Diana's sidekick in my unpublished novels, another hooker named Mary Alice Mercier aka Crystal. It's now oneline in the "Oregon Literary Review."
