Good luck with your writing and with finding an agent. One place to find agents who are accepting manuscripts is to look at upcoming conferences and the agents who will attend and take pitches. If know want to read my experience with agents, check out my blog.

Hi Kathleen: Good luck on your cozy mystery novel. Eastenders? Isn't that a British soap that airs on BBC America. It shows very late here, so have only caught parts of it. I do like what I call the BritComs, which come on here on Saturday nights on PBS. I write mystery and suspense novels.

Valentine Rhyme

I have a dish of candy valentine hearts on my desk and wondered who came up with the idea to put words on them. Some advertising genius of course, but I thought it would be fun to come up with a two line rhyme for a valentine card.

Does anyone want to share a rhyme with the Most Romantic first line and the Least Romantic second line?

Here's one:
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Your feet stink,
But I still love you!

Malice Domestic Conference April 24-27,2008

I'm off to the conference next week and I'm not sure what to expect. This will be my first time attending. I was hoping to pitch my book but I understand attending agents/editors do not take appointments. I've also heard some authors have acquired an agent at this conference.
Any advise out there for me on this conference would be greatly apprecisted.
