We always had a parakeet around the house when I was growing up. Dicky was his name. He used to fly down to the dinner table and set on my grandmother's glasses and peek in, then drink her ice tea. Then drink mine. Then drink my grandfather's. But only because he trusted us, I'm sure. He was a spoiled brat.
