STRIKE PRICE, my second thriller, is available as an e-book from L&L Dreamspell and will shortly be published in print. My first, 13 DAYS: THE PYTHAGORAS CONSPIRACY, is in print from Brown Books Publishing Group and available as an e-book from L&L Dreamspell. About this novel, drawn from my experience in the high-risk oil and gasoline business, Euro-Review says: "Author L A. Starks delivers an unstoppable thriller that put this reviewer in mind of bestselling novels of this genre over the last several decades."
3) My third short story about shipboard terrorism, "Gumbo File" (pronounced 'filay'), is part of the Dreamspell Nightmares anthology. Check out my two Amazon Shorts, now on Kindle. 2) The crucible that was San Francisco during the Vietnam War provides backstory for STRIKE PRICE character Jesse Drum in "A Time for Eating Wild Onions." 1) Even a perfect wingsuit flight among the clouds couldn't save (13 DAYS antagonist) Robert Guillard from himself in "Robert and Therese Guillard: Choices."

Thanks for the add. I actually thought the first book by Tana French, In the Woods, was better, but I was bothered that she didn't resolve the earlier mystery of what happened to the missing children twenty years earlier.
