Reader
Books And Authors I Like:
Really enjoyed Markus Zusaks' The Book Thief, Laurie Kings' Mary Russell series and John leCarres' The Russia House. There are too many favourites really!
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Adore the BBC production of Sherlock Holes with Jeremy Brett, Indiana Jones (of course) and a little of the futuristic Trekkie stories now and then. Pretty easy with it all though.

Ah yes, I recall hearing about the Gold Coast when I was down there. I still get a kick out of "XXXX: Queenslander for beer."
As for Brett, there's no question in my book. He was nonpareil: the great Sherlock Holmes *ever*. He inhabited the role, portrayed Holmes' idiosyncracies without descending into modernist parody.
Speaking of Holmes, have you given Les Klinger's ANNOTATED SHERLOCK HOLMES a look?
I'm a big fan of the Brett Holmes productions as well, and I loved Australia when I visited it back when the world was young. By "Gold Coast," you mean Brisbane and environs, right?
