I guess getting a crime story published made me realize I could belong here with "writer" status as opposed to a wanna-be.

Great to see another Melbourne writer on here. Fantastic that you have a novel coming out with Text. A friend of mine, Beth Montgomery, was the first author for young adults to be published with them, last year (The Birthmark).
