There's a trend that's been pissing me off no end and inspired by this article I thought I'd get if off my chest. I work in a community health centre and among the services we provide is Maternal Child Health. My 2007 Reading List

I read 78 books in total. I've allocated each book to one genre so I can do an overview of my reading habits. You can see how I categorised each by my complex coding system.

I don't think I will read this many books again. Last year I didn't write much writing and was just seeing out the year. In 2006 I read 52 books, so I'm by 26 books this year. My resolution next year will be to blog more about my reading. I'm usually too quick to reach for the next book to take the time to blog. Vie…

Book Rave: Baby Shark's Beaumont Blues by Robert Fate

I came across this series by reading a review in Spinetingler. The premise of the first book in the series Baby Shark hooked me from the start. Kristin Van Dijk is left for dead after a gang rape by a biker gang in the 1950s. Out for revenge she trains herself in the killing arts.

Great to see another Melbourne writer on here. Fantastic that you have a novel coming out with Text. A friend of mine, Beth Montgomery, was the first author for young adults to be published with them, last year (The Birthmark).
