Been interested in crime/mystery genres, both in novels and short stories as well as film and TV drama, since I was a kid. At the moment I'm trying to write a crime novel. Have written short stories in the crime and general fiction formats which appear on various writing websites.
Books And Authors I Like:
Ruth Rendell, P. G. James, Michael Dibdin, Michael Connolly, Ian Rankin, Dennis Lehane, Mark Billingham to name a few. And not forgetting the classics - Hammett, Chandler et al.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Far too many to mention, but particularly Lawrence of Arabia, Apocalypse Now, Schindler's List. TV - Prime Suspect, Rankin's dramatised novels - most of the stuff I like is over a decade old; modern TV is chewing gum for the intellect.

Greetings from "across the pond" in New Orleans ( okay, we are a pond here!)
My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria. P.S. just posted an excerpt on my Crimespace page.
