April's Reads

April found me in a bit of a literary funk. Little writing or reading

Presenting the certificates and prizes to Young Crime Writers

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of presenting certificates to the shortlisted entrants of the Southern Area Young Crime Writers' Competition organised by the Crime Writers' Association of Great Britain and supported by the Library Service. It was so lovely to meet so many young people who enjoy writing and reading and it was an incredibly difficult task choosing a winner. The new cover for MASUDA AFFAIR:

As you can see, the publisher didn't pick my design. I was disappointed, but on the whole, this is ok. It's Japanese art, and it doesn't conflict with the time or setting of the novel. And my name dominates! I didn't even have to ask for it. I could come to love this.
