Excellent Puzzle. one of your best.
I’m thrilled with the reaction to A CANTERBURY CRIME. ‘The story is totally unpredictable and never loses the reader's rapt attention. Brenda and Hazel are witty, irksome, sharp, and pleasure-loving characters who are the perfect detectives, barely managing to elude disaster by the most dire, unsavory criminals imaginable!’ More splendid reviews on this link,…

The Embroidered Corpse.
Jeannie Blethen-Rigod rated it: 5 of 5 stars
This book was outstanding. The storyline, the characters, dialogue, and actually teaching me about the famous Bayeux Tapestry. My only complaint is that the book was too short. Soon I'll head over to the 3rd in the series.

The ancient walled city of Canterbury has held many secrets over the centuries but none more mysterious than the death of Professor de Gray.
Called in to evaluate the contents of his Tudor Manor House, Belinda and Hazel are confronted with a number of suspects who would benefit from the book the Professor was about to publish; a book he promised would re-write the history of St Thomas Becket who was murdered in the Cathedral in 1170.
The unfriendly secretary Miss Mowbray, the live…

New Review.
'Bloody Ham offers an entertaining combination of an old-fashioned whodunit with characters who are fun to meet. It seems everyone on the film set has something to hide and the side threads are as entertaining as the main, twist-filled plot. In short, the book is delightful and recommended to fans of cosies and traditional mysteries'

I was at Oxford University at the same time as Britain's new prime minister. But while I spent all my free time at a famous old pub opposite the historic Bodleian Library with a pint of Guinness in the company of some old Irish porters, I never saw David Cameron there. Which makes me doubt his suitability for office.
That's not because I think the prime minister should be overfond of alcohol (at Oxford, Cameron was a member of a very upper-crust private drinking…
