ARE YOU KINDLING YET?

We've all heard about the Kindle readers, but I don't hear authors discussing the unique opportunity to put their own work up on Kindle. I uploaded 7 flash fiction stories called "Over In a Flash," created it with a vision of how I wanted it presented, priced it and sent it out to the world.

Talk about diminishing venues to speak and sign, difficulty getting book sales and name recognition makes me wonder--how far out of the box are you willing to think?



I live in a small town, pop. 23,000 (Lemoore). Ten miles away is a larger town (Hanford). Forty miles away is the Big City (Fresno).

When does promotion start?



The minute you take yourself seriously as a writer.

GOOD NEWS ON MY END

Hi everyone. Just wanted to share with you that I got a panel at LCC Hawaii! I'll be on the NEW BLOOD panel with Barry Broad, Victoria Kneubuhl, John Madinger, G.M. Malliet, Alice Wilson-Fried, and moderator Mike Befeler. There's also a debut breakfast, and I got 15 mins of fame to talk about Turning Fact Into Fiction.
