Meet Me in VA on Wednesday

Superstorm Sandy interfered with my last signing at the NVCC Annandale Campus bookstore so I'm back there Wednesday with copies of my newest mystery - Russian Roulette - AND my latest action thriller - The Piranha Assignment. They are perfect gifts for the literate student or parent, signed and personalized by the author. Find me on the 2nd floor of the CA Building, 8333 Little River Tpke, from 11am to 3pm.…

Praise for Damaged Goods

Writing from “Somewhere in the Bible belt” Cherie Hiles posted a five-star review on Amazon.com about Damaged Goods. After saying she was sorry it ended she explained why, in such a cool way that I was happy to post it as the featured review on my web site. Check it out! http://www.ascamacho.com

Author Update

I always enjoy having lunch with the Belvoir Officers Spouses Club, and last week was no exception. I did sign books there, but the turkey was the best part of that event.

The same group sponsored the Holiday Craft Boutique and Family Fun Fest Saturday. The George Mason field house was jammed with 150 vendors. I signed another bunch of books while enjoying the live music and performances. Another good time!

And I am featured in the video produced by Book Case TV from interviews…

More Praise for The Troubleshooter

Daniel Munroe posted this review of The Troubleshooter on Amazon: “Loved it. I'll admit I didn't think much of the first couple of pages. The action seemed too easy for Hannibal to execute, and I was worried the story might end up being a little glib. However, within a chapter or so, I found the characters growing on me, and I thoroughly enjoyed being along for the ride during Hannibal's challenges, sharing his successes, plus enduring his failures ... and failings. I also very much liked…

Author Update

Not only did I have a great time at the Northern Virginia Christmas Market, but it was the most successful event of the year so far.  I got to talk to a lot of readers, and people with friends who like to read.  I also chatted with a librarian who needs writers to speak at her library, a couple people who remembered me from last year and several who said they would download me onto their Kindle…

More Praise for Collateral Damage

More Praise for Collateral Damage

Earl Aldridge posted this review of Collateral Damage on Amazon: "Hannibal Jones larger than life" detective and a world traveler. He is a hard-hitting troubleshooter. Finds himself tangled in a web of murder and treachery. An interwoven tale where everything is not as it seems. Hannibal, nearly super type hero, takes the lead in this tale of a missing person. A must read for the detective inside of you.” …

Author update

My Halloween book signing at the Northern Virginia Community College Annandale Campus bookstore was not as successful as expected because Superstorm Sandy prevented my books from arriving in time. We will try again later in the month, so you get a second chance to find the store and visit me.

Meanwhile, my review of Secrets of the Lynx is in The Big Thrill, the newsletter of the International Thriller Writers. Romantic suspense isn’t enough to describe Aimee Thurlo’s latest novel.…
