I got an advance copy of the February Writer's Digest the other day
because I'm quoted in an article on eco-thrillers, along with my agent, my editor, and three other authors. I have to say it's a totally new experience (and a little weird) to open a magazine and see myself staring back. (Well, technically, I'm staring at this sidebar: "One of the things that makes eco-thrillers so compelling is that the earth is our home. If the environment turns on us, there's no safe place." - Karen Dionne)
The article is a little early to help my novel publicity-wise, since my book won't be out until October, but I'm hoping it might
perhaps lead to other opportunities - who knows? According to this article, eco-thrillers are an up and coming genre . . . ;)
