Well, as I've said in my profile, I write romantic suspense. I finished a novel about two weeks ago and so now I'm in research mode on the next while my first draft of House of Cards is with my beta readers. The bad guy for my next book is going to be an arsonist, so I'm researching the psychological profile of serial arsonists, motives for arson, methods, etc. If anybody knows of good sources online or in books, pass them my way!

If you're at all interested in the writing side of things you can hop on over to my writer's blog.

Yep! As I was telling Tony, it is Blue Smoke. Great read. :) I'm in research as a day job, so this is a breeze. It's the whole FINISHING the books that's the problem...[chuckles].

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that one of Nora Roberts books was involving an arsonist and she did go into detail about why and how this person became one. I don't know if that will help you very much, but it was worth mentioning. Have a great weekend!

It was Blue Smoke. One of my favorites.

The very prolific Nora Roberts has a book out (which we unfortunately had to read as part of our professional writing course) that deals in considerable depth with a serial arsonist. The details about arson were far more interesting (and exceedingly weel researched) than the plot or the story. Sorry, I can't recall the title. The whole thing was very forgettable.
