Hi All:

Here are some pics from my recent Reading/Q&A/Signing Event at the Perquimans Library in Hertford, North Carolina, hosted by the Friends of the Library. We had a full house, the Q&A session lasted over an hour and I sold out all the books I had there. As the Director of the Library said, "It was a very enjoyable experience all around."

What James said above makes really good sense to me too. Congratulations on a GREAT turn out there. Have you asked them if their co-branches might be interested in doing some out there? Perquimans County is only one of (4 or 5) branches, that all communicate between them, but each has their own locals. Might be something to think about too:-)

There's something about a booksigning at a library that I enjoy. Nearly all the signings I attend are at booksellers and while the venue is pleasant, there's pressure -- low key, but present -- put upon the writer to, well, sell his or her work! At a library, the focus is on a good story! Congratulations on having such a fine event!
