The image is always altered when someone else interprets them. In my first Turner Hahn novel, I was asked what I thought the cover should look like. I have them some specific ideas. The results? Not anything even vaguely resembling what I had in mind.

Adam Grose, a British graphic-novelist artist and I are working on the visual image of what my two main characters should look like. And I have to say I am extremely pleased with this shared view. But the point is. . . even if no one interpreted our characters images/sound, we do. Over time they change in appearance. Sometimes dramatically. Nothing is set in stone.
