I've been busy - writing a play, reviewing for a couple different outlets, blogging and working on projects for th Virginia Writers Club.  Still, with several events coming up I know I have to get the promotional machinery running again or I may be forgotten by my readers.  I've learned that the only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom.

Since my last entry I had a book signing at the Borders Express in Dulles Town Center.  The Mall was dead and the store was empty at noon when I arrived.  I never signed a book until almost 1:30, but that first person asked me to sign 5!  Then the day got somewhat better.  I did so well that day that even though Borders stores were not allowed to order books for events they invited me back. In the meantime, I’ve gotten some press.

The Leesburg Today newspaper mentioned me in their write up for this weekend’s writer’s conference.  More on that below, or see what they had to say.  http://www.leesburg2day.com/article_0ab0fe70-7001-11e0-a7a1-001cc4c...

And on Good Reads, my book “Successfully Marketing Your Novel in the 21st Century” got listed among their More popular books tagged "nonfiction-favorites"  http://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/nonfiction-favorites
