Chatting with former FBI undercover agent Jack Garcia who helped bring down a Mafia family

This interview was so fascinating I wanted to share it all around. In the tradition of Donnie Brasco or Serpico, Jack Garcia successfully infiltrated the Mafia and brought down a crime family. However, there were two factors the others didn’t have: Jack is actually Cuban and was accepted as being Italian and he is 6’-4” tall and weighed 360 pounds – a very unlikely agent to be recommended by the mob boss to become a made man.

We chatted easily for a long time, and when I reviewed my notes, I didn’t want to cut one part of the interview so I split it into three parts to run in consecutive weeks. Jack has a wonderful sense of humor which spices up his story. His book, “Making Jack Falcone” has been acquired by Paramount for a movie.
