I want to be in enough demand that I don't have to promote... like Joan Wilder in ROMANCING THE STONE, where her agent, editor, and the world all wait anxiously for the next book.

Books sold to the majors (if they still exist), books optioned to Hollywood, the respect of my peers.

Have security for my series and publishers for my other books. I'm also not fussy about the advance, but I like commitment.

Published. I'm not fussy about the timetable or size of contract. I just want someone to have paid me to publish at least one of my books.
