Well, maybe... My lovely agent has hooked up with a TV agent at CAA who is now shopping my books around to a number of TV writer/producers. Stranger things have happened, right?

Great news. Good luck, Jon. Can I assume we're talking about something cable here? Much of the book's charm would be lost if subject to broadcast TV standards.

I know those Tom Selleck- Jesse Stone movies do really well for CBS (Selleck's arrival to film a new installment is how we measure the seasons in Nova Scotia) so there is a market for crime/mystery TV movies.

Good luck, and remember, get as much up front as possible, and that the "net" is a myth.

Hey, just the fact the agent think's there is a chance for a series is a compliment in itself. I wish you all the best. And be like Hitchcock in his movies--make a fleeting appearance in about every other episode just for the hell of it.

Thanks, you guys--it's a crazy-long, multi-step process, but yeah--you never know.

Wow, wouldn't that be terrific? Wishing you success with this, Jon, you never know.
