Really sad news

It was really sad news to read this morning David Carradine apparently took his own life by hanging himself in a hotel room in Bangkok, Thialand. Carradine was seventy-two years old. Why did he choose Bangkok will be interesting to find out. As I said on another site, if I was a writer of detective fiction I would look at this story and become a wee bit suspicious. But, frankly, stranger things have happened.

It would be a great way to murder somebody. Strangle him with the rope, then set the body up so it looks like an auto-erotic death. At 72, though, maybe he just had a heart attack. All I know for sure, I loved Kung Fu, and this makes me sad.

Interestingly enough family and friends closet to Carradine are becoming more adamant against the idea of suicide and accidental death. Perhaps erotic suicide might be found. . . but from a 72 year old man who wanted to kill himself in a closet? An actor used to . . demanding. . . attention choosing a closet to kill himself in?

Hmmm, I dunno I.J. The latest report I read says he hung himself in a closet. A seventy-two year old man deep in Chinese philosophy doesn't sound like a guy who would hang himself in a closet.

Umm, there appear to be details that suggest this was accidental. The location tends to fit such an explanation.

It is very sad indeed. I used to watch his TV show all the time, and he was great in the Kill Bill movies. Maybe he had some sort of illness no one was aware of or some other problem that overwhelmed him. It doesn't seem to make any sense, but then, suicide rarely does to those left behind.
