Switch becomes a bestseller in Germany

As an author, one is told not to pay any attention to Amazon rankings as they'll drive you crazier than you already are. However, in ignoring this advice, as of this particular moment in time, Switch is an official bestseller on Amazon Germany. Die Stimme des Dämons is sitting at No. 32 on Mysteries & Thrillers and No. 137 in the overall category of Books. WooHoo!

A good agent is always the charm. They can't guarantee you a publishing deal, but they can open the doors to editors for your manuscript that you simply can't open by yourself. Plus, they look out for your interests when it comes time to making the deal. My agent managed to turn an initial World Rights deal into a World English deal, and then turned around and sold the German translation rights to a different publisher, which was definitely beneficial.

I guess the third agent was the charm!
