Are you ready to Rumble? Want to read a seriously dark, angry, violent origin story to a new and gripping sci-fi/fantasy digital short story franchise? Do you groove on fire golems and wolves? In the future after reading this are you going to stare at people on the beach to see if they do indeed possess a belly button? How many more questions can I right in a row? Will I ever tell you what this story is about and stop beating around the bush? Can I in fact get to what is between the virtual pages? Did Cody Toye in fact, while sitting on his living room floor with his laptop and a cup of coffee, write this story? Is the Intangibles a series?

“The story begins, "Hate has always been an intangible force." Although hate may be intangible, the effects of hatred are very apparent. You'll be sitting on the edge of your seat, gripping your ereader tightly as these "beings" project their hatred on everyone they encounter. Begin the journey as the good doctor proposes a way to eradicate those filled with hatred. This is not a story for the weak of heart. Be warned! Intangible is a story you won't soon forget!”

Okay enough with the questions already. This is a new, dynamic, dark, violent, and thought provoking series from Cody Toye who thus far has brought us: Dribbles the Squirrel, Zorza the Alien, & The Toye Box Collection of Children’s stories. Have I missed anything? Sorry I am trying to stay away from the questions right now. What I am trying to say is that Cody can write in many different genres, age groups, and carry it off well. The Proposition blends so many different elements of basic human needs, wants and desires, but it is through the eyes of aliens that are superior to us, can destroy us, kill us, and we are almost powerless to stop them. We need one of them to stop them so he can be the last one of his kind left and then the deal is he will be allowed to be one of us. Basically exterminate your species and we will let you walk among us as you so much crave to.

On the path to this journey people get killed at an alarming rate, dying grizzly deaths at the hands of the “bad” guys if you will. Are they really bad if they are superior and just want to rule over us? Oops there goes another question, sorry. My thoughts on this are very basic: it is a well -crafted digital short story that is an engaging read. I personally am looking forward to the next installment. Drop the buck on it and go for the ride. Have you checked your neighbor’s belly button lately?
