We at Writing PIs dig Dennis Palumbo. Eons ago, I worked on a flailing TV sitcom that sputtered and died its first year, but it opened the door to a decades-long acquaintance with Dennis Palumbo, who eventually wrote the screenplay for "My Favorite Year" and soon after, became a therapist specializing in creative issues. He also writes mystery short stories and novels, as well as a handy non-fiction book "Writing from the Inside Out: Transforming Your Psychological Blocks to Release the Writer Within").
He's also a down-to-earth, funny guy.
So when he writes an article about writing, I read it. Usually gives me some insight on how to tackle or work with a writing issue. His most recent is "The Write Mind: Simple, but not easy" at In Cold Blog:
