Yeah, I know...rebel without a cause! Just wanted to say I enjoyed your stories posted on TKnCs recently (especially No One to Depend On). I can't post comments on that site 'cause you need a website/blog (Rebel without an URL?). Anyway, wanted to drop a line... Tanis
It's like when people say 'all philosophy is footnotes to Plato.' It's an exaggeration, of course. But the idea is that Plato created the basic template and everyone else kind of works within that template.
Why would anyone write? To leave their unique stamp on the template.
Ill maybe give them a jingle. Since I fired my last artist Ive been monkeying around with trying to do it myself. But I dont like it, BR, and Id much rather be writing. Ive got a lot planned. Like you Ive had computer trouble. Lost my hard drive on my laptop and paid for another and I lost my word processor. Ive been too cheap to buy another. Ive finally transferred my NOP to this desktop which still has a word processor. And on and on. I have a novel triology located in Ancient Egypt Im trying to get off the ground. Its nice to have problems though for it means Im writing. When I sold real estate I moved and hit a slack time. When business picked up and I opened a few escrows and started have problems and I realized that it felt good. Keep up the good work.
What's up BR? Ive been a little overwhelmed lately. I have several novels I need to work on and Im trying to publish myself 3 more novels on kindle and smashwords and other ebook stores. Ive given up trying to get published. Ive gone through that bullshit off and on for over twenty years. I paid an artist 250 bucks for the ebook cover you see in my pic then on the second one I was going to publish I didnt like what he came up with, we got in a dispute and I fired him. heh heh Ive never fired anyone before. Ive been fired enough times. Anyway now Im having to learn how to make my own ecovers and on and on. Whats up with you?

It's tough isn't it? I've got one of the best agents in the country, yet can't quite seem to clinch the deal...
