Hi, Nancy. Thanks for joining my friends list. I just signed up with CrimeSpace on Saturday. Working on a deadline, but I'll check out your website tomorrow. Take care. --Wayne
Good to meet you, Nancy. I notice you and I have similar tastes in authors. A lady who likes her crime novels narrated by insolent wise guys has to be worth knowing. My present goal is to become progressively more insolent with the least possible expenditure of words. So I'll just shut up and hope you write me a note or two occasionally despite my unredeeming qualities. Seriously, thanks for the invitation.
Thanks for the add, Mary. Nice to meet you. My name is Sharolyn, but my friends (and I hope that you will be one) call me Shay. It's a name I've had since I was 12. The only people who don't call me that are my family.
Nancy,
You seem to be the only person here who realized I joined. Thank you. As I said, my favorites have always been the old "cozies." I'll occasionally watch something newer on tv, but put on an old Agatha or Dorothy, and I'm glued to the set. More recent works on tv I enjoy is the Midsomer Murder series. I don't have much time to read any more. (Did a lot of reading back when I had to read by torchlight in the cave.) Writing and then marketing of one's works I find to be a full-time job. I know I could make more stuffing french fries into those paper sleeves, but I don't really think that would be as much fun.
Hello Nancy - It's nice to make your acquaintance, I'll be sure to explore your policepulse site more thoroughly in the near future. I see we have some concentricity on favored authors, and I've picked up a couple additional names from your list, thank you. I think you may especially enjoy Michael Connelly's books and Caitlin Rother's true crime nonfiction, if you haven't already discovered them. Bracingly, Michael
